Most of the animal lamps are true to live animal size (Dinosaur lamps being the main notable exceptions)
As the lamps continue to be made today by hand, hand poured in individual moulds, and hand painted individually in small batches in a small business, the available range of options will vary with each delivery.
Heico began as a small German business making concrete garden statues when such garden decoration was popular. As the trend for novelty garden statues waned, at a friends suggestion the makers tried making a few lamps from the original moulds - this was proved an extremely popular experiment, and thus Heico became a novelty lamp business!
