** newly made batch are due first week March ** Our gorgeous little sailing boats are made by Tahlia who was Steiner educated and grew up wood working, she began by making Sailing boats for her own sons, they were so admired that she thought others might also like them, so she made some more; when we saw her boats we immediately knew that our customers would love them too.
The hull is made from Tasmanian Oak which is a hard wood, being a hardwood with a fine grain, it sits well in the water, it sits upright and doesn't tip easily. The sails are made from Organic cotton and hand stitched by Tahlia, some are even hand dyed. Being individually hand made, each sail colour and hue will vary, the available colour palette will reflect the season.
