There are seven beautiful Mandala design screens to select from for your De Noest lamp.
The classic De Noest lamp is versatile with around 30 screens to choose from. The silhouette is cut from sustainable birch, lined with a coloured fabric, and backed with a non flammable opaque screen which creates a beautiful glow, outlining the silhouette. There are silhouettes for every occasion and every personality: Season themes, birth, birthdays, Xmas, Easter, and some lovely new folk art designs, and traditional mandala inspired by various ancient cultures.
The lamps come with a standard Australian socket fitting. A small low wattage light globe (not provided) with a small screw fitting screws into the socket placed inside the lamp to light up the silhouette cut out, bringing a touch of magic and wonder into the room. The lamp may be sat onto a shelf or benchtop, or can be wall mounted.
All of De Noest products are once more hand made in small batches, by the second generation of the family who created them in 1988. The lamp and all screens are the original designs of the De Noest creators.The timber is a high quality and non toxic Birch from sustainably managed plantations, the finish used is a water based non toxic lacquer.
