De Noest Alter Lamp

De Noest Alter Lamps create a magical stage to display small figurines and small favourite objects from nature. Small world scenes maybe created and interacted with (A few of our Ambrosius fairies and/or a few of the smaller Ostheimer animals and birds are particularly at home at play on the stage.

There are two alter lamps to choose from, each with a beautiful decorative silhouette design: Art deco style 'Wings', and 'Nature' with woodland trees and birds.

The rear wall of the alter features an oval shaped cut out frame which is accessed from a removable panel behind, a place to insert a favourite photograph, or seasonal postcard, behind non reflective protective glass. A small hook inside the front of the lamp can be used to display a small hanging Swarovski crystal (provided), and a hole in the centre of the decorative cut out silhouette across the top of the lamp acts as a slot to attach one of four (provided) cut out decorations: butterfly / guardian angel /  cross / star; the decorations can be attached permanently, or changed to suit special events.

The lamps come with a standard Australian socket fitting. A small low wattage light globe (not provided) with a small screw fitting screws into the socket which is cleverly placed inside the top of the lamp to light up the silhouette cut out, bringing a touch of magic and wonder into the room. The lamp may be sat onto a shelf or benchtop, or can be wall mounted.

All of De Noest products are hand made in small batches by the family who created them in 1988. The timber is a high quality and non toxic Birch from sustainably managed plantations, the finish used is a water based non toxic lacquer
