Apiscor Beeswax Block and Stick Crayons
Created for use in Steiner schools, Apiscor beeswax crayons glide beautifully on the page, they are highly pigmented, are long lasting. They were originally designed in Brazil to cater to the Steiner Schools in South America where they have been used for many years. Due to a higher beeswax and minimal paraffin ratio than traditional crayons, they are quickly becoming a popular choice for Steiner schools around the world, and increasingly popular for use in the home.
As per most art products used in Steiner (Waldorf) education, the colour range is informed by Steiner's indications for colour in the education of children, based on Goethe's colour wheel. Apiscor crayons have a vibrant and intense pigment.
Developed with the child's senses, and concern for the environment in mind, Apiscor crayons contain 45% beeswax and less than 10% paraffin, making them a leader in sustainable beeswax crayons.
Being hard, yet smooth, and intense in colour, easy to layer colours without smearing, they are ideally suited to early Primary school years.
