Brand - Fagus

The Büngern-Technik in Rhede (Westf.) workshop for people with disabilities started its development, production, and marketing of wooden toys in 1982. The workshop is run by the Caritasverband für das Dekanat Bocholt e.V..

Making high-quality, durable, and educationally valuable toys with an excellent reputation around the world under the brand name of fagus.

Fagus provides an education opportunity and  meaningful fair wages work for around 135 people with many different disabilities, whilst producing these special toys they are able gain confidence in the workplace and come to identify their best skills. 

Actively practised sustainability and charity are embodied in the high quality Fagus brand.
