Each set is skillfully handmade, from the turning of the matching timber base and top on the lathe, to the delicate painting, each doll will be different as each region has a unique style, then each artist has their own signature way of decorating, and then each one the artist paints will be unique as they work individually and often put a spontaneous artistic variation on each.
