Toverlux lamps, window frames and lanterns are a concept inspired by Nature and influenced by Steiner / Waldorf.
The lights are ideal for a child's bedroom, for education settings, as seasonal decor in a school, on a desk, in a family room; they make a delightful backdrop on a nature table.
The range of silhouettes is vast, over 150 silhouettes have been created by multiple gifted artists who work in various mediums. The silhouette screens can easily and quickly interchanged on the lamps and frames as the seasons change, to suit a mood, and to celebrate festivals, and for life's special moments.
To keep a silhouette collection safely stored, Toverlux have designed a special timber box.
With such a vast range, not all screens will be available constantly, but any can be ordered if showing as out of stock.
- Made from Birch timber in a socially responsible carpentry workshop.
- The lamp is lit by a CE certified LED light; the lamp is powered by a USB cord which fits into a universal USB outlet.
Toverlux items explained:
Lamp - wooden lamp base for inserting silhouettes, with dimmable LED light and USB power cord.
Frame - (Identical to front of lamp), a wooden frame for silhouettes, easily attaches to window with a provided suction cap.
Lantern - a small round cordless portable LED t-light style bamboo lantern to display 'shades'.
Silhouette - pictures to slide into the lamp or frame; printed on a durable foodgrade safe translucent material (150+ designs to select from - arranged here in collections by currently x12 various artists)
Shades - interchangeable shades, selection of various artists work in collectins of x5 sheets. Easily assemble with split pins to fit within slots in the lantern base and lid.
Storylux - collections of silhouettes with illustrations from picture books; the silhouettes can be changed in the lamp as the story is told.
Edulux - collections of screens with an educational aspect (ie seasons) * these are being developed and not available yet.
Base / stand - a slotted wooden base to display the frame on a window sill, perfect for a close up view at child's level, or placed on a table in front of a (supervised and safely placed) candle. *** NB: the frame has changed width from 10mm to 14mm, check size of purchasing a base at a later time to the frame
Storage Box - an attractive square wooden box with a lid to keep the inevitable growing collection of silhouettes in order.
DIY - Silhouette paper to create your own artwork to display in a lamp or frame
Flower silhouette kit - for using pressed flowers or leaves to crate your own nature art screens for the lamp or frame
