Brand - Grimm's / Spiel und Holz

Lyrebird has proudly stocked the full range of Grimm's / Speil und Holz design since 2008. The Grimm's wooden toys specialty is in quality handmade toys, toys made for open-ended play. The original product range was based on the clear true colours of Goethes colour wheel as prescribed by Rudolf Steiner for children, the range today has since expanded to include pastels, and new designs are created each year whilst keeping true to the original principals of well made, quality natural materials, hand made, and water based paint is used so the properties of the timber are retained both visually and to the touch.

The Grimm's toys are handmade in Grimm's own purpose built workshops, the main business is in Hochdorf Germany, and some products such as large puzzles are made in their workshop in Bosnia, quality control with attention to detail is of upmost importance.
